Geotechnical and survey investigations are currently being carried out to help inform the New England Highway – Maitland Westbound Upgrade project, with intermittent work in the area until the end of November, weather permitting. Both day and night work may require intermittent single lane closures. Traffic controllers will be on site to direct motorists. From 7pm Friday 22 May to 5am Monday 25 May , traffic will be managed through a temporary two way shuttle flow arrangement while work is carried out to construct a roundabout on Putty road. T here will be significant delays for over-size over-mass (OSOM) vehicles passing through the site.
